This special stone is named for the beautiful, shimmering flecks of blue/purple flecks which make these glass opal look like they are "on fire". These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches, earrings and rings.
