The morning glory vine is done in antiqued fine silver finish with a protective lacquer. Closure is hand forged in our workshop with sterling silver over copper wire. You get three wire-wrapped loops with hammered hook so you can get just the right fit. This makes closure simple with no annoying mechanisms to give out. These Fire Opals have been used in jewelry since Victorian times. They continue to be made present day by master craftsmen that have passed this art form down generationally in Europe. In Victorian times they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings. Historical figures were also mesmerized by the nature of the seeming "fire flecks" shimmering within these unique stones. These make very eye-catching pieces.

This necklace was a gift for my daughter and she loved it and so did I. I ordered it very close to Christmas and the seller made sure that the order was the right length and got it to me in time for Christmas. The necklace was GORGEOUS and wrapped very elegantly.
