A large, intricate Fancy Winged Dragonfly lights elegantly on this mysterious Fire Opal. The precious metal flames deep inside this European faux opal seem to spark and shimmer as the light catches them. Due to the unique pattern, each opal is one of a kind. Set in an antiqued Sterling Silver finish Setting. This hangs from a hand forged bail and textured silver chain. Our signature adjustable closure with forged loops and hook finish this piece. All forging is done in our workshop. Wire used is sterling silver over copper core.

These unique stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings. Historical figures were also mesmerized by the nature of the seeming "fire flecks" shimmering within these unique stones.

I Love Dragonflies and this is the prettiest set I own. It is well made, the chain is strong and the fire in the opal is noticeable. The earrings are feminine and just the right size. The owner is easy to work with and will accommodate your jewelry design request. It came nicely gift wrapped. And the price isn't to high for such good quality. Now that I've found them, I'll never buy jewelry at the stores again. And It got here fast too. Best of all it's made in the USA!!!!!!! :) Everyone that sees it Loves it. Especially me.
