Sits on a gorgeous intricate base of cast antiqued gold oak leaves. A very pretty design in a comfortable adjustable setting to fit almost any size. This stone is 10x14mm in size.

Lovely lace setting is solder set to ring. This sets off this stunning Fire Opal stone as the fire flame is arranged in a unique pattern for each glass stone.

This special stone is named for the beautiful, shimmering flecks of blue/purple flecks which make these glass opal look like they are "on fire". These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches, earrings and rings. Historical figures were also mesmerized by the nature of the seeming "fire flecks" shimmering within these unique stones.

It is adjustable by widening or closing the ends. Since this is a sturdy ring base and not at all flimsy, you can adjust this to your size and it will keep it's shape. This is an heirloom quality piece. It is recommended that you remove it for bathing, swimming and dish washing. It should not be in contact with water for long periods.

If you would like your ring set to your size leave us a note in note to seller. If your size is smaller than 6 we need to know as I will need to cut your ring down to size. Once set, it is still adjustable if you would like to wear on more than one finger or if your size fluctuates. This is why we have many clients who have requested this feature and style of ring.
