This Victorian design highlights a striking large Dragon's Breath Opal with flames that appear to fleck and move from within as the light catches it at different angles. Encased inside a beautiful crown setting then prong set atop an intricate, yet sturdy filigree. This filigree boasts a lovely, unique shape with a wonderful large Swarovski crystal drop. These Swarovski crystals are done in Austria and are world renown for their cut and clarity. This crystal has a shimmering aurora borealis finish that mimics the ethereal feel of the Northern Lights. Chaining is done in antiqued silver finish and may vary in style, but will be the same quality and color. All metal work is sterling silver ox finish. Our signature adjustable hand forged loops and hook allow simple, secure closure.

Dragon's Breath is also known as Fire Opal. Our Fire Opal designs are some of our best sellers. This particular style is one of our largest domed opals. Our customers love the special stones which date back to Victorian times. Named from the beautiful, shimmering flecks of blue which make this glass opal look like it's "on fire". These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings.

This necklace is made to order. Right now it generally takes only 3-4 days. If you need it sooner, please check with me. At times I have stock on hand, but these tend to run out fast for our fire opal designs.
