Striking Dragon's Breath Fire Opal is wrapped in a richly detailed dragonfly. Done on old world machinery with new materials. This dragonfly is very detailed with a luxurious antiqued copper finish that is heirloom quality. I have forged the ornate wings, tail and head around this one of a kind fire opal stone in a sideways wrap.

This is the largest stone we offer in our Fire Opal designs. It comes in at a 25 x18mm oval. This stone is set in an embellished copper framework with beautiful floral casting. Bail is hand forged with thick specialty wire. Chaining is thick and textured with our signature hand forged adjustable loops and hook. They are done in copper with an antiqued gold finish Length of necklace from bottom of pendant to the top when closed on first loop is about 22" with another 1/2" of adjustable length from the other two loops.

These Fire Opal stones are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique. Gorgeous flecks of fire flames seem to shimmer and flash beneath the surface of each one of a kind stone. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings. Historical figures were also mesmerized by the nature of the seeming "fire flecks" shimmering within these unique stones. They are made of glass with metal inside that floats and appears to shimmer in all light.
