Named from the beautiful, shimmering flecks of blue which make this glass opal look like it's "on fire". These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings. Historical figures were also mesmerized by the nature of the seeming "fire flecks" shimmering within these unique stones.

This unique necklace features a hand forged bail and gold plated chain. Done with our signature hand forged adjustable loops and hook for secure and simple closure. You may choose chain and closing to be done in antiqued gold which is just like the bail. My daughter liked the shiny and it does contrast nicely with the rich deeper antiqued look. I also like everything being done in antiqued gold. The shiny may wear to a more subtle patina naturally. You may also choose black chaining. I decided to leave the option up to you.
