Heart shaped sign with stain of your choosing. Embossed Couples' initials Patina will be Vivid Modern or you may choose the more subdued "old World" patina as shown in the last photo. Packaged and shipped Priority mail.

Stain choices include: Natural (just a protective varnish over wood, Aqua, Navy, White or Deep Oak as seen on the heart.

We will create your custom sign for you with great care and craftsmanship.

I start with copper sheet metal and hand emboss your last name.

Underneath I hand stamp your wedding or anniversary date which is optional.

Next, I torch fire a patina onto the copper. This is like painting with a torch. I can achieve an array of colors ranging from vibrant, to more subdued hues. Each piece turns out unique and one of a kind. The large embossed letters are hand sanded to show bits and pieces of the shiny metal underneath. This gives the piece great character while contrasting with the aged look of the patina. Some clients have no hand stamping

The copper art is then placed on a finished wood piece and set with dark finishing nails.

Each sign comes with twine for easy hanging. Please let us know in note to seller if you prefer wire. These also look great in a picture easel. If you prefer brackets for hanging, just let us know when you order and we are happy to customize.

This makes a wonderful wedding, anniversary, birthday, housewarming or just because.

A great deal of time and care are taken when creating your special, one of a kind piece. Please allow up to 7 days for creation and shipment. During very busy periods please allow up to 2 weeks.

Please let us know
1) the initials you want embossed and
2) the date for the hand stamping only if you wish for hand stamping
3) if you prefer a different stain other than natural with varnish
4) if you prefer a different way of hanging other than a wire hanger like twine or brackets

Please note, you may also choose a phrase or names with more characters in one of our upgraded signs that are larger . . . La Cucina, Welcome, Man Cave etc. The link for a short phrase is here I have included a photograph of one done for a chicken coop The Copper Henny which included extra coats of wood protectant as requested by the client since they were placing it outdoors. Please note, if you choose to place your sign outdoors, you will have to re-coat it with a varnish or protectant over both copper and wood every year or so. Copper does darken and react if a varnish is put over it.
