These special opals were historically referred to as Harlequin glass. There are many colors that seem to shimmer and glow almost like cathedral crystal. We attempted to catch then at different angles so you could see how the light reflects beautifully. These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique in the way the various colors are arranged. These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches and earrings.

Please note each opal stone is unique. They all have some milkiness as all opals do and vary. I choose opal stones to match as closely as possible for your earrings.

Hand forged ear wires are made from non-tarnish sterling silver overlay with copper core. These are flexible and comfortable. They are made to be easy to pinch closed so no rubber stopper is needed. You will receive the simple ear wires. Note, model is wearing our upgraded spiral ear wires which are a little longer than the simple one loop hooks.
