Custom Copper Sign with hand embossed phrase You may choose your own custom shop phrase or any phrase up to 22 characters long counting spaces. Please note, we can only fit about 18 on one line. You may get up to 14 more characters on the second line at an additional charge for the added embossed letters. This is an extra long sign at least double the length of our original copper signs. Dimensions are about 23" long and 7 1/2 " wide. Choice of stain: Natural, Medium Oak or Dark. We have colored stains available in gray, aqua blue, navy blue or antiqued white. Have significant date or dates stamped on for special occasions like anniversary, wedding, as house warming gift, Children's births at no added cost for up to 5 names and one est. date or coordinates. Please contact us for special listing if you need more than 5 names stamped.

I start with copper sheet metal and hand emboss the last name. Next, I torch fire a patina onto the copper. This is like painting with a torch. I can achieve an array of colors ranging from vibrant, to more subdued hues. Each piece turns out unique and one of a kind. The large embossed letters are hand sanded to show bits and pieces of the shiny metal underneath. This gives the piece great character while contrasting with the aged look of the patina. If you wish for any dates or names below your phrase I hand stamp your wedding or anniversary date along with the individual names. This can be done for a couple or family. The copper art is then placed on a finished wood piece and set with finishing nails. You get to choose the finish you would like with the original bark on the top and bottom.

This particular-size is one of our largest upgrades. The hammered edge is an extra feature which may be added for any of the character choices. Please keep in mind spaces and apostrophes are including in the characters. The McKinney Homebrew is not as long as this sign option, but the photo is included to show the hammered edge.

Each sign comes with saw tooth brackets for easy hanging. These also look great in a picture easel. We have done wire hanging or twine upon request for past clients at no additional charge.
